Comments (1) The St. Louis Taoist Association was created in 2007 in order to spread the ancient teachings of Wudang Taoism to Western society and the St. Louis area.
It is the goal of the STA to teach classes, seminars and lectures about Wudang culture and the Taoist arts including ancient texts, exercise and spiritual development. The STA will also host trips to China and arrange private study at Wudang Mountain in China.
In the future it is the goal of the STA to have a local temple and shrine dedicated to Wudang’s patron saint Zhen Wu. In this temple, all classes, ceremonies and activities will take place.
The St. Louis Taoist Association is a member of the North American Wudang Taoist Association under guidance by 14th Generation Wudang Zhang Sanfeng Master and 25th Gen Wudang Longmen Priest Yun Xiang Tseng.
